Giants at Texans Player Props: Dell's Return and Seven Target Share Tests

Updated October 20, 2026. Week 7 early research edition for Sunday, October 25. Information cutoff: October 20, 2026 at 7:15:09 AM CDT. Later official reports and game day markets are not included.

The Texans' passing offense has more options, not seven separate guarantees of volume. Tank Dell's expected return and Marvin Harrison Jr.'s expanding involvement make this a target distribution story. On the other side, the Giants' quarterback decision and an unsettled rushing rotation argue against betting last Sunday's late rally as though it were a stable offensive baseline.

October 20 release update

Update checked October 20, 2026 at 5:55 PM Central: the NFL's Tuesday roundup lists Najee Harris as released after five games, one start and 99 rushing yards on 33 carries. The Giants' public transaction tracker had not yet reflected the move at the same check. The release removes a rotation competitor, but it does not guarantee Tyrone Tracy Jr.'s rushing workload or Cam Skattebo's role. The existing Tracy research threshold remains a Football Nation screen, not an executable sportsbook quote. Reassess only after first-team role evidence and a current sourced price.

The football and market context

Houston coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday that Dell would be on the field against the Giants. That is an attributed expectation, not a snap guarantee. The team's review also described Harrison playing limited snaps in his debut and Jaylin Noel exceeding 100 receiving yards. New York's official analysis says Jameis Winston was replaced by J.J. McCarthy, whose late production came largely against zone coverage with limited pressure. It also quotes John Harbaugh describing the running back role as unclaimed. FanDuel Research's game snapshot favored Houston by 9.5 at −112, with over 43.5 at −102 and under at −120. A large favorite can still have uneven individual receiving volume.

How to use these evaluations

The individual numbers marked as FN research screens are editorial judgments about where to investigate or stop, not sportsbook quotes, model projections or confirmed betting edges. Unless a source snapshot is explicitly stated, the line and price are unavailable to FN. FanDuel Research's accessible player area did not provide verified named individual quotes at the check. That does not prove no sportsbook offers them. Published prices may move and are not executable live offers. Cumulative statistics are baselines rather than verified weekly target or route shares. An over requires both the outcome threshold and an acceptable price; a player can remain a good fantasy starter while his prop is a pass.

1. Nico Collins anytime touchdown

DraftKings Network snapshot: +100. That requires a 50 percent success rate to break even. Houston's table lists Collins with 22 catches for 323 yards and three scores, but the returning and newly integrated receivers make concentration a live question. FN would reopen the discussion at +125, a 44.4 percent hurdle, rather than assume even money is a bargain. The strongest counterargument is Collins retaining the most valuable scoring opportunities while other receivers absorb lower value targets. Verify the active group and role, not just the number of recognizable names.

2. Isaiah Likely anytime touchdown

DraftKings Network snapshot: +175, requiring 36.4 percent. The Giants' table lists five receiving touchdowns alongside 39 catches for 383 yards. That is genuine scoring involvement, yet a quarterback change can alter the routes and timing that created it. FN would investigate +200 or longer after the starter is identified. The strongest counterargument is Likely remaining a trusted scoring option for either quarterback. Avoid confusing a season total with a game level scoring frequency, and do not count a two point conversion as an anytime touchdown.

3. Dalton Schultz anytime touchdown

DraftKings Network snapshot: +250, a 28.6 percent break even requirement. His 28 catches for 277 yards establish participation, but the official table lists no receiving touchdowns. FN does not treat that as proof he is due. A price of +350 would reopen a speculative evaluation with better scoring role evidence. The strongest objection is that catch volume can create future red zone opportunity even when early touchdowns went elsewhere. Dell and Harrison also make the allocation less certain, so a reception case should not be smuggled into a touchdown recommendation.

4. Malik Nabers receptions

Line and price unavailable. Nabers' 41 catches for 494 yards make him the clearest established wide receiving baseline on New York's season table. FN would examine 5.5 catches after the quarterback decision; 7.5 is a pass without evidence of a very concentrated plan. The strongest counterargument is Houston leading and allowing the Giants enough attempts to support a high catch count. Last week's late passing production is not a clean guide to a full competitive game. Confirm route participation and the starter rather than extrapolating a single quarter.

5. C.J. Stroud passing yards

Line and price unavailable. Houston lists 1,714 yards on 219 attempts, giving a meaningful efficiency and volume baseline. FN would examine 249.5 with normal protection and available receivers; at 279.5, a potential controlling lead becomes a stronger reason to wait. The strongest counterargument is that a deep receiver group can generate enough efficient gains before the game slows down. A Houston win and a Stroud yardage over are not the same prediction. Track whether the offense is expected to remain aggressive rather than assuming the spread guarantees passing volume.

6. Jaylin Noel receiving yards

Line and price unavailable. Noel's season table shows 17 catches for 334 yards, and his latest performance included a 50 yard gain. FN would research 39.5 before buying a repeat of the 100 yard result; 59.5 needs a clearer route and target share despite Dell's return. The strongest objection is Noel continuing to earn explosive opportunities even in a crowded room. That is plausible, but explosive dependence can produce wide swings. Do not replace missing route counts with an invented percentage or assume the newest receiver arrival automatically eliminates his work.

7. Tyrone Tracy Jr. rushing yards

Line and price unavailable. His two touchdowns against New Orleans came one through the air and one on the ground. Harbaugh's comments and a team running back total of 34 yards on 14 carries argue against declaring Tracy the established lead runner. FN would examine 24.5 only with fresh evidence of a larger rushing assignment; 39.5 is a pass while the rotation is unresolved. The strongest counterargument is that his scoring plays earn a bigger opportunity. That is a future coaching choice to monitor, not something the touchdowns alone have already proved.

FN decision and next checkpoint

FN's preference is to resolve role uncertainty before turning a price into a pick. The next checks are New York's starting quarterback announcement, Dell's activation and participation, Houston's receiver rotation and the Giants' backfield plan. Collins and Likely have real scoring histories, but neither current quote establishes an edge by itself. For fantasy, Nabers' catch foundation and Houston's shared receiving work should be evaluated separately from volatile touchdown outcomes. Refresh all quotes and inactives on game day.

Fantasy context: catches add value in half PPR and full PPR leagues but not in standard reception scoring. League settings differ. Sportsbook markets settle under their own rules; an anytime touchdown generally requires the named player to score, not merely throw a touchdown pass. Read the applicable market rules. FN has no sportsbook sponsorship, affiliate link or promotional code in this article. No outcome is guaranteed, and passing is a valid decision. Never increase stakes to recover a loss.
