Packers Sign Mekhi Becton, Place Jacob Monk on IR: Week 8 Impact
Tuesday offensive line checkpoint
Factual cutoff: October 27, 2026 at 4:15 PM Central. Green Bay held a walkthrough Tuesday. The official estimate kept Sean Rhyan out with an ankle injury, Travis Glover out with a knee injury and Aaron Banks limited by knee and toe issues. This supersedes earlier text that treated Tuesday participation as pending.
Mekhi Becton does not appear on the injury table. That absence does not identify him as the starting center or guarantee a snap role, and Jacob Monk remains on injured reserve.
Football consequence: Green Bay still has an unresolved center and interior protection plan. Fantasy consequence: Jordan Love and the Packers backs keep their baseline value, but line dependent ceilings should be treated cautiously until the lineup is announced. Strongest counterargument: Becton's experience and active roster promotion may allow Green Bay to stabilize the unit quickly. Wednesday's final report and Thursday's active roster are the next checkpoints.
